With a high-intensity soundtrack, PS3 Madden 10 players will get even more for their gaming dollar. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. As a departure from other games, Madden 10 has decided to throw in some classics as well as current hits - and it will rock you. Get a load of these songs, and tell me you're not sold on the PS3 Madden 10 soundtrack: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

Looks like you need a visit back in time, to the embryonic days of sports video games, if you have your doubts about PS3 Madden 10. Maybe it's an obtuse comparison, lavishing platitudes on PS3 Madden 10, just because it blows every past video football game out of the water. Once you've given the older football video games the once-over, you can grasp why people are drooling over PS3 Madden 10. It makes sense that at the beginning of the video game console revolution, there was a huge demand for football video games. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. "All the excitement" of the real thing, the game publishers crowed back then. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day. Those players don't even look human. That's just a harsh fact. You can tell by the image that the game wasn't much, but that's only the half of it. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. Things were so limited that a scrolling screen was out of the question. Not long afterwards, the main competition developed a more advanced football video game for their console. This next one was a valiant attempt to make a more realistic football video game. But it was still nothing too impressive.

The video game world was certainly jazzed when that was released, but it wasn't exactly the gold standard. That wouldn't come until several years down the line. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever. It's certainly easy to see why that one was a hit - the gameplay was far more sophisticated, incorporating actual offensive and defensive strategies. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. And given that they're making a new online version, there's still a following for it. But even that one can't compete with PS3 Madden 10. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games. As you can see, football video games have evolved exponentially since their first appearance. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. No need to beat a dead horse. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") Of course, PS3 Madden 10 has really taken the ball and ran with it, which is cause for serious celebration in the video game world. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. EA Sports has sacked all the competition with PS3 Madden 10, to nobody's surprise. Don't listen to the naysayers and the contrarians - there are few games as great as PS3 Madden 10. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. And it's where they separate the men from the boys, by letting you duke it out for some serious cash.

PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
